About the role

  • Project Management course developing leadership and project management skills at Wilfrid Laurier University. Coordinating the course and ensuring syllabus alignment across multiple sections with a focus on practical applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply leadership and project management skills to issues
  • Provide an understanding of the people, technical, organizational, and leadership challenges and strategies involved in project management
  • Coordinate the course with all instructors required to follow a proposed course outline

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree
  • A current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Prior university-level teaching experience in Leadership and/or Project Management
  • Experience teaching virtual asynchronous (“online”) courses at the post-secondary level
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Project or other project management software is an asset
