About the role

  • Digital Television Project Coordinator managing programming information and ensuring its distribution across digital platforms at CBC/Radio-Canada. Collaborating with internal and external partners for optimal workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, compile and format Radio-Canada TV programming information, ensuring seamless distribution across all digital platforms
  • Analyze workflows to plan, produce and deliver diverse content tailored to each broadcast season
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external production partners, as well as the Content Marketing, Programming, Communications and Marketing teams
  • Leverage various communication, content management (CMS) and video transcoding tools effectively
  • Maintain and update tracking dashboards and content planning calendars
  • Gather and distribute relevant information to content production teams
  • Collect details and write comprehensive briefs for contests and audience engagement campaigns
  • Develop daily schedules based on changing priorities and co-ordinate activities as instructed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to centralize and co-ordinate deliverables from both in-house and external producers
  • Propose creative solutions to optimize workflows and improve team organization
  • Monitor the progress of various deliverables, identify bottlenecks and propose effective solutions
  • Coordinate shift coverage and scheduling replacement requests as required
  • Safeguard the brand’s interests

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Three years’ experience in a similar role
  • Interest in and deep understanding of the Canadian French-language television industry and its star system
  • Strong ability to use video processing tools
  • Ability to quickly become proficient in software relevant to your job focus (in-house CMS and video processing tools)
  • Solid French writing skills and excellent command of written French
  • A keen eye for style, tone and trends relevant to digital audiences
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high standards for work quality
  • Independent, proactive mindset
  • Superior organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to thrive under pressure
  • Ability to analyze user behaviour and propose effective content visibility strategies
  • Ability to track emerging digital and tech trends and translate them into actionable recommendations
  • Comfort and proficiency in creating visual content using Adobe Express
  • Strong understanding of CBC/Radio-Canada’s strategic direction and corporate vision
