Responsibilities
Supporting the Project Lead in execution of projects.
Drafting as-built and redline plans for construction surveys (piles, topographic surveys, material cut/fill, pipelines).
Performing calculations for piles, anchor bolts, and foundations.
Designing and calculating quantities using AutoCAD Civil 3D with multi-layered surfaces.
Producing clean, professional deliverables that meet client and industry standards.
Collaborating with field crews and project leads to understand project scope and deliver results efficiently.
Liaising directly with clients, offering technical solutions and outstanding customer service.
Performing quality control on field data, computations, and drawings.
Interpreting and applying engineering and construction IFC drawings.
Maintaining a working understanding of land survey principles and the Western Canadian land tenure system.
Operating independently within CORE’s remote virtual work environment.
Providing on-call support for evening or weekend field emergencies when required.
Requirements
A Diploma or Degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum five years of experience in construction and engineering surveys.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and field-to-finish workflows.
Experience across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure construction.
A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
