About the role

  • Project Coordinator at Connexa Geomatics managing construction surveys and collaborating with clients and project leads. Focused on delivering clean, professional plans while working remotely from Edmonton.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Project Lead in execution of projects.
  • Drafting as-built and redline plans for construction surveys (piles, topographic surveys, material cut/fill, pipelines).
  • Performing calculations for piles, anchor bolts, and foundations.
  • Designing and calculating quantities using AutoCAD Civil 3D with multi-layered surfaces.
  • Producing clean, professional deliverables that meet client and industry standards.
  • Collaborating with field crews and project leads to understand project scope and deliver results efficiently.
  • Liaising directly with clients, offering technical solutions and outstanding customer service.
  • Performing quality control on field data, computations, and drawings.
  • Interpreting and applying engineering and construction IFC drawings.
  • Maintaining a working understanding of land survey principles and the Western Canadian land tenure system.
  • Operating independently within CORE’s remote virtual work environment.
  • Providing on-call support for evening or weekend field emergencies when required.

Requirements

  • A Diploma or Degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum five years of experience in construction and engineering surveys.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and field-to-finish workflows.
  • Experience across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure construction.
  • A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Exceptional communication and client-relation skills.
  • A creative and solutions-focused mindset with the ability to think beyond the standard approach.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
