About the role

  • Business Operations Lead automating clean-energy finance and diligence workflows at Crux. Building AI-enabled GTM systems that improve execution and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy automation-driven systems supporting structured product workflows and Business Execution diligence efforts
  • Identify repetitive tasks in deal evaluation, due diligence, internal handoffs, and compliance, and replace them with scalable automation
  • Build reliable service-delivery infrastructure across GTM tools such as HubSpot, Omni, and internal systems
  • Enable commercial, marketing, and PDE teams to operate with greater precision and less manual intervention
  • Develop scoped MVPs using off-the-shelf tooling and iterate toward operational excellence
  • Use AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate internal processes and improve customer-facing systems
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Growth, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure systems are robust, aligned, and adopted
  • Establish analytics and reporting systems to track performance, identify opportunities, and drive improvement

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of financial and diligence operations
  • Familiarity with how investment banking teams work
  • Ability to understand pain points in evaluating investment opportunities, compliance, and due diligence
  • Ability to build trust with Business Execution banking teams
  • Experience identifying innovative service-delivery solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and assess short- and long-term impacts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and take ownership of commercial process design and scaling
  • Ability to scope ambiguous problems, identify core issues, prioritize high-leverage opportunities, and drive execution
  • Experience or strong interest in automation-first systems and AI-powered tools
  • Tool familiarity with HubSpot, Claude Code, and n8n
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, growth, product, engineering, marketing, and PDE teams
