About the role

  • Quality Project Manager driving quality and improvement initiatives at Cummins. Collaborating with teams to enhance project execution and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead End-to-End Project Delivery: Drive multiple projects from initial ideation or assignment through full completion
  • Facilitate Strategic Project Planning: Partner with internal business stakeholders to lead project planning sessions
  • Design and Execute Robust Project Plans: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and performance tracking mechanisms
  • Monitor Progress and Communicate Status: Utilize project management, data visualization, and communication tools to track performance
  • Manage Risks, Issues, and Quality: Apply quality and project management tools to proactively identify risks or issues
  • Oversee Budget, Research, and Analysis: Plan and monitor project budgets, conduct research, and perform project data analysis
  • Enable Team Performance and Development: Assign appropriate resources and guide project teams through each stage of delivery
  • Promote Continuous Improvement and Best Practices: Document lessons learned, maintain accessible project records, and share project management best practices

Requirements

  • Need experience in problem solving/ 8D/SRCA, product development or current product experience
  • Must be able to travel to the USA
  • Master degree preferred
