Canadian Payroll Specialist overseeing payroll operations for hourly, salaried, and unionized employees across Canada. Resolving payroll related issues and ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations.
Responsibilities
Manage end to end payroll operations across multiple provinces
Administer full cycle payroll processing for hourly, salaried, and unionized employees across Canada
Assist with US payroll processing
Validate timekeeping, earnings, deductions, taxable benefits and adjustments
Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on schedule
Reconcile payroll registers, general ledgers and year end balances
Generate payroll reports for finance, human resources and leadership teams
Requirements
10+ years of Canadian payroll experience with high volume, large multi-national company
Experience working with UKG PRO/UltiPro preferred
Experience with ADP preferred
Bi-lingual, English & French
Bachelor’s degree required (those without degrees but equivalent experience are encouraged to apply)
Canadian Payroll Certification from the National Payroll Institute (formerly CPA) strongly preferred
