About the role

  • Programmatic Strategist managing DSP campaigns for Directive Consulting, a B2B performance marketing agency. Optimizing media, reporting results, and advising SaaS clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Programmatic clients day to day
  • Build, optimize, and report on campaigns across Display, Native, Video, Audio, and other programmatic channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create media strategies aligned with client objectives
  • Leverage first-party and third-party data for audience targeting and segmentation
  • Develop and implement campaigns across DSPs including DV360 and The Trade Desk
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns to meet performance and pacing goals
  • Generate and analyze performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Troubleshoot campaign performance and delivery issues
  • Coordinate with creative, analytics, and account teams
  • Serve as the primary client contact
  • Provide campaign performance updates and strategy adjustments
  • Present campaign plans, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to clients
  • Operate computer software platforms and office productivity tools as necessary

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in programmatic roles at publishers, advertising agencies, or ad tech companies
  • B2B experience is a bonus
  • Hands-on expertise building and optimizing campaigns in DSPs
  • Preference for experience with The Trade Desk and DV360
  • Proven experience in programmatic media planning, buying, and building measurement frameworks
  • Strong understanding of how programmatic, paid, and organic channels work together to surpass client KPIs
  • Experience driving programmatic growth across B2B/SaaS clients with budgets over $50k/month
  • Strong cross-collaboration, interpersonal, and communication abilities
  • Solid analytical ability and exceptional attention to detail
  • Results-oriented mindset and ability to balance multiple projects
  • Established and current work authorization in Canada
  • Permanent residence in Canada
  • Reliable internet access and a professional background
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods
  • Ability to observe and interpret written and verbal communication
