Responsibilities
Review and implement company inventory control strategies and policies across the site
Coordinate inventory cycle counting and physical inventories as defined by customers
Send daily, weekly, and monthly reports and communications to clients
Train Team Leads and Associates on inventory management and cycle-counting processes
Ensure inventory transactions and stock status reports are completed on time
Develop methods to maintain accurate inventory levels
Resolve inventory issues and minimize operational impact
Research inventory discrepancies and provide root-cause analysis
Recommend process improvements based on root-cause analysis
Verify transactions are correctly documented and recorded in CW and WMS platforms
Coordinate with Operations and Receiving teams to resolve inventory discrepancies
Assist with and facilitate API and periodic audits, partnering with clients as needed
Ensure compliance with company and regulatory inventory-management and storage guidelines
Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence within the inventory control team
Serve as the primary customer contact for inventory-related enquiries
Requirements
High School or GED or equivalent combination of experience and education, or B.S. or B.A. in Business, Supply Chain Management, or another associated major
3 to 4 years of experience in a high-volume warehouse distribution facility
Ability to multi-task
Ability to motivate others and build effective teams
Experience with inventory management and cycle-counting processes
Knowledge of CW and WMS platforms
Ability to conduct root-cause analysis and inventory discrepancy research
Ability to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Ability to comply with company and regulatory inventory-management and storage guidelines
Availability for the PM shift, 4:15 pm to 12:30 AM
