About the role

Technical Representative delivering specialty chemical solutions to Alberta fleet wash, surface treatment, water treatment, and industrial customers. Servicing equipment, conducting testing, managing accounts, and supporting customer growth.

Responsibilities

Provide technical service supporting product application at customer sites and create account satisfaction and retention
Manage multiple customers across the assigned geography using various product lines
Provide customer assistance, information, and support; handle inquiries and ensure satisfaction
Service DuBois equipment, including repairs, replacements, and installations
Conduct chemical testing and manage inventory
Provide value-added personal service to customers
Report and document findings and abnormal conditions, communicate results, and offer recommendations
Resolve customers’ technical challenges and assist with process improvement
Communicate and collaborate with team members and cross-functional support employees
Learn and assist with DuBois eTools, System Surveys, and Cost Calculators
Enter chemical test results, meter/setpoint readings, inventory level/dosage rate data, GPS location, and service time into an Analytics platform or equivalent system
Travel to assigned customers to conduct service audits
Work with sales leaders to drive growth among existing customers and prospective accounts

2+ years of mechanical, chemical, or industrial experience
Strong time management skills and attention to detail
Ability to understand the company’s products and services
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in technical/mechanical on-site testing
Ability to adjust to various customer needs and situations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Products, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and other analytical tools
Ability to travel up to 30%, including overnight travel
