About the role

  • Consultant handling air quality projects influencing responsible development across Canada. Conducting dispersion modelling and supporting environmental assessments with a focus on climate strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced dispersion modelling
  • Lead permitting analysis
  • Support environmental assessments
  • Design air quality monitoring plans
  • Advance clients’ progress on greenhouse gas inventories and emission reduction programs
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Strengthen environmental stewardship
  • Help clients adapt to emerging climate policies

Requirements

  • Bachelors in environmental, mining or chemical engineering, atmospheric science, or a related field
  • 2-3+ years of direct consulting or industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience with CALPUFF and AERMOD air dispersion modelling
  • Experience supporting Environmental Assessments
  • Strong understanding of air emissions, emissions reporting, and regulatory compliance processes
  • Advanced spreadsheet and database proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment, manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and travel as needed
