About the role
- Project Manager - System for Expleo overseeing aerospace development projects. Collaborating with a dynamic team on cutting-edge industrial projects in Mirabel, QC.
Responsibilities
- You will be part of the project management team for aerospace development projects in the SYSTEMS domain, responsible for providing a reliable reference framework based on project and portfolio management best practices, and for delivering expert project management community services to ensure optimal decision-making and protect the Program.
- As a Project Manager, you will monitor and control required activities in terms of schedule, cost, quality and performance to ensure the success of A220 development projects.
- Your initial scope will focus on SYSTEMS – electrical and avionics: Support the processing of changes in systems development, Lead project management activities for the Integrated Product Team, Facilitate the team’s weekly reviews, Ensure follow-up on action items.
- Track schedules (both program-level and operational), Monitor the risks and opportunities process, Track the development project costs for the team, Act as the Integrated Product Team’s strategic partner regarding their responsibilities for schedule, cost, quality and performance.
- Ensure decisions are aligned with operational needs and escalate issues when required.
- Establish and manage governance for the Integrated Product Team.
- Develop, harmonize and update the roadmap in support of the product evolution plan.
- Track internal and external project activities (schedule, cost, quality, performance); develop, harmonize and update integrated plans.
- Identify and integrate lessons learned from the project.
- Maintain active management of risks and opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ambition.
- Ideally 3–5 years of experience in project or program management.
- Technical experience in aerospace development and commercial operations.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient with Google Workspace and project planning tools.
