Responsibilities
- Interpret, understand and comply with drawings and specifications
- Work closely with all company departments and act as the project coordinator to ensure effective work from all parties: Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards for equipment
- Manage subcontracted engineering services (plan, coordinate and schedule): Create and maintain the overall project schedule while handling unforeseen events and constraints so as not to impact key deadlines
- Monitor and manage the project budget
- Lead cross-departmental meetings and ensure each participant is engaged
- Identify and implement solutions for issues encountered during the project
- Present project progress reports to the executive committee
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the development project
- Ensure the quality of technical documents used for tenders (work standard specifications and appendices) by providing appropriate methodological support and guiding project managers through the subcontracting process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the industrial sector or in a similar role; relevant combinations of education and experience will be considered
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Recognized for reliability and autonomy as well as the ability to work effectively in a team
- Motivated by change and new challenges
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
- Proficiency in French and English is an asset
