About the role

  • Network communications engineer supporting Franklin Templeton’s global asset management infrastructure. Managing enterprise data and voice networks, vendors, SLAs, incidents, and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee outsourced vendors to ensure quality service delivery using SLA/KPI management
  • Partner with Technology teams to support global data and voice environments
  • Manage network infrastructure using established operational standards
  • Define and improve operational processes and service standards
  • Oversee vendors and manage service level agreements and key performance indicators
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively address service issues
  • Lead incident resolution and participate in major incident management
  • Identify automation opportunities and support production implementation
  • Support Franklin Templeton offices and employees worldwide as part of a distributed international team

Requirements

  • 5+ years supporting network solutions in distributed medium to large enterprise environments
  • Experience with switching architectures using Cisco Nexus OS and Catalyst IOS
  • Experience with Cisco SD-WAN, routers, ASA, and wireless technologies
  • Experience with routing protocols and load balancers
  • Ability to diagnose production issues and work with vendors
  • Basic knowledge of voice infrastructure is a plus
  • Excellent documentation and diagramming skills
  • Ability to liaise with business customers, development teams, and vendors
  • Understanding of the ITIL framework
  • Ability to interact with and lead team members in local, international, and multi-site environments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global environment
  • Ability to work independently and escalate appropriately
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
