ServiceNow SAM Developer designing and optimizing software asset management solutions for CMS. Collaborating closely with teams to drive compliance and cost optimization.
Responsibilities
Design scalable SAM solutions leveraging out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities
Translate business and product requirements into technical designs aligned with platform best practices
Ensure solutions and application are aligned with Common Service Data Model (CSDM), CMDB architecture, ITAM/SAM data models
Collaborate with architects to define integration patterns and system architecture
Configure and develop within ServiceNow SAM, including software models and normalization support
Develop using platform-native tools including Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, and IntegrationHub
Implement and optimize advanced SAM Pro capabilities such as Publisher Packs, Reclamation workflows, SaaS usage integrations
Support automation of license reconciliation and compliance tracking
Monitor and optimize platform performance related to SAM processes and data volumes
Work within Agile/Scrum environment to deliver incremental value
Requirements
5+ years of ServiceNow development experience
Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow SAM
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, APIs)
Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub)
Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and ITAM modules
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
