About the role
- Project Management Specialist at GE Vernova responsible for project delivery and documentation management in nuclear energy projects. Collaborating with teams to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for on-time project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project-related activities and resources
- Assist Project Director in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP
- Participate in customer, internal, and/or supplier project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination of customer, internal, and/or supplier kickoff meetings
- Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring timely completion of project-related training activities
- Support the development & issuance of the Project Management Plan & related project plans and project procedures; promotes the implementation of project plans and project procedures across the larger project team
- Support the development and deployment of project infrastructure and project tools
- Ensure compliance with U.S. government requirements as applicable
- Support coordination of project activities; monitor and control progress on project deliverables
- Ensure the conformance of project deliverables with contract and project requirements
- Organize and archive project correspondence and records consistent with Project Configuration Management Plan
- Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and project progress reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college OR a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience working on projects
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Demonstrated organizational skills, particularly when related to project execution
