Responsibilities
As Senior Project Manager, support the Managing Director in leading and managing several multi-year initiatives within CCC’s strategic project portfolio.
Lead the delivery of CPP’s strategic project exploring investment opportunities in Canada’s circular plastics economy.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project partners, funders, research teams, and consultants.
Lead project planning, execution, tracking, and reporting to ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and resource requirements.
Coordinate research project activities with partners and consultants, manage and review deliverables.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners, funders, and stakeholders.
Support the planning, administration, and execution of events and activities.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in project management, stakeholder relations, or related role
Previous business development, communications, design, systems thinking, and consulting experience is an asset, including report writing and/or proposal writing
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
Experience working with circular economy and materials management stakeholders across construction, real estate industry, government, non-profit, and academia
Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to synthesize research and manage research related processes
Experience planning and hosting virtual and in-person workshops and meetings, including agenda setting and coordination
Demonstrated ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and execute with minimal supervision
Experience working with remote, geographically distributed teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
