About the role

Environmental Project Coordinator managing assessments and remediation in the oil & gas industry. Collaborating with a high performing team to deliver environmental solutions in Alberta with a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

Planning and execution of engineering and scientific solutions to bring sites to closure through assessment, remediation and/or risk assessment
Participate in a team environment working closely with other Project Coordinators, Project Managers (PMs), Project Directors (PDs) and Technical Leads
Provide effective field and office mentoring of junior environmental practitioners
Assist PMs and PDs from proposal through to execution
Engage with industry networks to enhance client experience
Maintain health, safety, quality and environment key performance indicators (KPIs) and behaviors
Drive a culture of innovation across business units

3 to 7 years of experience with contaminated site assessments, remediation and reclamation
Bachelor and/or master's degree in environmental science, engineering or related discipline
Working knowledge in the oil & gas industry considered an asset
Registration with a professional designation in Alberta (e.g. P.Eng or P.Geo or P.Ag) is an asset
Expertise in field assessments, technical reporting and project management
Knowledge of provincial and federal legislation and regulatory requirements surrounding contaminated sites in Alberta
Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational ability
Strong communication and writing skills with a collaborative mindset
Valid driver's license
