About the role
- Full-stack Tech Lead Python Specialist ensuring executable and observable architecture. Guiding team for MVP delivery in a compressed timeline within Giga IT.
Responsibilities
- Define the portal's reference architecture (frontend, backend, authentication, integration, observability)
- Align API contracts with the integration layer (OpenAPI, versioning, error model, idempotence)
- Define resilience for dependencies (timeouts, retries, fallback/degradation)
- Establish engineering standards (repos, CI/CD, code review, quality gates, Definition of Done)
- Guide performance/SEO decisions (SSR/SSG in Next.js, caching, CDN)
- Coordinate with Salesforce replatforming for system-of-record, critical workflows, and coexistence strategy
Requirements
- Python (FastAPI preferred) and service design
- JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, SSR/SEO, and web performance
- API-first design and enterprise integration patterns
- Observability (logs/metrics/traces) and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of GCP (Cloud Run, IAM, logging/monitoring)
- Event-driven (Pub/Sub) for process decoupling
- Experience with MuleSoft or equivalent integration platform
- Experience with CIAM/IdP (Okta/Azure AD B2C/Identity Platform or equivalent)
