About the role

  • District Warranty Service Manager improving warranty processes, dealer compliance, and customer retention for General Motors Canada. Managing warranty waste, goodwill, field actions, audits, and dealer performance across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Improve customer retention through customer satisfaction processes related to warranty administration, out-of-warranty compromises, field actions, and training.
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve district targets for warranty waste and customer participation in goodwill.
  • Manage the use of the courtesy transportation program and support the elimination of warranty waste.
  • Ensure dealers apply service policies and procedures, CSI, and Goodwill/Policy guidelines.
  • Ensure dealers have effective processes for repeat repairs, customer management, and safe vehicle delivery.
  • Assist dealers in escalating files to TAC or Field Service Engineering.
  • Occasionally meet with end customers to resolve compliance, warranty, and field action issues.
  • Support corporate audits, close-out meetings, and the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Administer Warranty Labour Rate (WLR) reviews and audits and ensure compliance with Minimum Training Standards (MTS).
  • Organize and present regular meetings on district activities and performance.
  • Support cross-functional and special initiatives as required, and work with the legal team on relevant matters.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Superior analytical capabilities and excellent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional team environments.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Bilingual (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Regular face-to-face contact with dealers.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or marketing.
  • Must not require GM immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
