Responsibilities
Manage the entire portfolio of internal projects: selection, prioritization, tracking, and resource optimization
Directly manage one to three strategic projects from planning through delivery
Delegate and oversee other projects through the team’s managers and analysts
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, HR, Finance, Quality, HSE, Legal) to ensure alignment of needs and priorities
Establish and improve governance, risk management, and performance monitoring processes (KPI)
Proactively manage changes: scope, budget, and timelines
Facilitate cross-departmental communication and remove roadblocks
Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and legal requirements
Use and promote modern project management tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Kanban, MS Project, ERP
Lead project committees and progress meetings
Influence and engage stakeholders to achieve objectives
Identify opportunities to optimize internal processes and contribute to defining organizational standards and best practices.
Requirements
University degree in project management, business administration, computer science, or a related field
8 to 15 years of relevant experience in IT project management, including multidisciplinary projects with a strong technical component
Proven experience with modern project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Kanban)
Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (multitasking)
Advanced English to support effective collaboration with BBA offices and/or clients located in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally
Advanced French to support effective collaboration with BBA offices and/or clients located in Quebec
Asset: project management certifications (PMP or equivalent).
