About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Specialist managing full-cycle recruitment for GroupHEALTH, which transforms Canadians’ benefits experiences. Building talent pipelines, advising hiring managers, and strengthening employer branding.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from sourcing and screening through interviewing and offer negotiation
  • Partner with hiring managers on requisitions, scorecards, timelines, and organizational fit
  • Post vacancies and manage applications through UKG Pro ATS
  • Handle incoming Talent Acquisition requests via Jira
  • Prioritize critical roles and balance multiple open requisitions
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through job boards, social media, and direct outreach
  • Anticipate long-term hiring needs and strengthen the employer brand
  • Track recruitment metrics including turnover and time-to-fill
  • Maintain candidate files and Talent Acquisition reporting
  • Produce weekly recruitment updates for business units
  • Support new hire onboarding with the HR team
  • Represent GroupHEALTH at job fairs and networking events
  • Contribute to the annual recruitment strategy and budget
  • Lead and support Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives
  • Serve as the go-to Talent Acquisition partner for the assigned client group within 90 days
  • Own recruitment social media content, including new hire features and employee spotlights

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience in-house or agency setting
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field is an asset
  • Experience with sales or cold-calling is a plus
  • Proficiency with an ATS, preferably UKG Pro
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite
  • Strong business acumen and ability to act as a strategic advisor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Ability to build trust and maintain relationships across all organizational levels
  • Ability to assess candidates for role fit and cultural alignment
