About the role

  • Senior Director Analyst for HR and L&D technology insights at Gartner. Leading research and advisory projects while mentoring junior analysts in HR technology.

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative, thought-provoking and highly leveraged research
  • Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership
  • Create in-depth analysis that identifies the root causes of clients’ barriers
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by developing provocative, independent insights
  • Track and work closely with vendors, emerging technologies and practices
  • Provide individualized advice rooted in quantitative and qualitative data
  • Create and deliver high-value presentation materials
  • Provide sales support by serving as voice of the market
  • Provide high-quality and timely content peer review
  • Build credibility as an industry expert
  • Identify research process improvements
  • Serve as a mentor and coach by supporting junior team members

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in HR technology leadership roles
  • Specific knowledge of core L&D platforms and technologies
  • Profound understanding of the challenges CHROs face
  • Experience successfully designing, implementing and managing HR technology strategies
  • Deep first-hand knowledge of the HR tech landscape
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; graduate degree a plus
  • Strong executive presence and ability to establish credibility with senior-level audiences
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Comfort level with presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively
  • Agility with navigating and learning in highly matrixed environments
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, regionally and globally
