About the role

Bilingual Guidance Consultant providing remote clinical EAP intake and triage for ComPsych’s workplace mental-health services. Conducting assessments, referrals, and immediate client support from Canada.

Responsibilities

Telephonically address client concerns by conducting clinical intakes and referring clients to appropriate resources, such as therapists or counselors.
Ensure adherence to departmental protocols, best practices, and customer requirements.
Resolve issues and identify resources using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Educate clients about resources, eligibility, and services.
Maintain complete and accurate case documentation in the proprietary database.
Monitor emerging behavioral health trends and best practices.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure continuity of care and alignment with client-specific service expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

French bilingual language fluency is 100% required.
Minimum of Master's in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a Behavioral Heath field.
Superior active listening skills and a demonstrated ability to be empathetic to all client concerns.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Clinical assessment experience in mental health, chemical dependency and crisis stabilization.
Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in order to resolve client issues effectively.
Experience working with clients in crisis.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Excellent organizational skills, highly self-motivated, and dependable.
Stable work history required.
Intermediate computer skills.
