We are hiring an SAP Project Manager / SAP Data Analytics Lead for a hybrid role in Mississauga, ON, requiring 2 days/week in the office.
About the role
- Project Manager for Infrastructure Management at the City of Hamilton overseeing water/wastewater facilities. Leading project execution and asset management while ensuring compliance with city and provincial guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assume accountability for the development, implementation, and execution of projects related to water/wastewater and storm water facility asset management
- Provide leadership in the management of engineering and financial studies
- Liaise with consultants and oversee budgets
- Ensure service quality and cost-effective, timely service delivery in accordance with policies
- Prepare and make presentations to staff and external agencies
- Act as Project Manager on facility asset management audits and assessments
- Formulate long-range plans for inspection and maintenance of facility assets
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address asset management issues
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Environmental Science or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Membership with the Professional Engineers of Ontario or the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists preferred
- Demonstrated experience in project management of infrastructure investigation, preferably in a municipal environment
- Previous infrastructure management knowledge related to water/wastewater/storm water assets
- Knowledge of the Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act and the Ontario Water Resources Act
- Extensive knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure systems
- Experience in the development and use of asset management software preferred
- Strong working knowledge of database software and Microsoft Office suite including Access, Word and Excel
