About the role

  • Senior Project Manager overseeing the development and delivery of strategies to prevent and reduce homelessness in Hamilton. Working with various stakeholders to create integrated approaches for effective homelessness interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and co-ordinate deliverables within Hamilton’s homeless serving system
  • Oversee the development and delivery of strategies to prevent and reduce homelessness
  • Ensure projects are responsive to system issues and track outcomes
  • Mobilize collaborative approaches to engage internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare community planning documents and reports
  • Establish and maintain relationships with municipal and community contacts

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in social policy/planning, public administration, or related discipline
  • Extensive knowledge of housing and homeless regulations and practices
  • Demonstrated skill in policy development, business planning, and financial management
  • Experience in system design, development, and program delivery in the housing and homelessness sector
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data analysis
  • Must possess a valid Class G Driver’s Licence
