About the role
- Senior Project Manager overseeing the development and delivery of strategies to prevent and reduce homelessness in Hamilton. Working with various stakeholders to create integrated approaches for effective homelessness interventions.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and co-ordinate deliverables within Hamilton’s homeless serving system
- Oversee the development and delivery of strategies to prevent and reduce homelessness
- Ensure projects are responsive to system issues and track outcomes
- Mobilize collaborative approaches to engage internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare community planning documents and reports
- Establish and maintain relationships with municipal and community contacts
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in social policy/planning, public administration, or related discipline
- Extensive knowledge of housing and homeless regulations and practices
- Demonstrated skill in policy development, business planning, and financial management
- Experience in system design, development, and program delivery in the housing and homelessness sector
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data analysis
- Must possess a valid Class G Driver’s Licence
