About the role

  • Regional Director recruiting and developing Investment Advisors for iA Private Wealth Management. Supporting onboarding, business growth, practice management, and regional advisor development.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and recruit qualified Investment Advisors for iA Private Wealth Management
  • Present the business opportunity, development pathway, and value proposition to candidates
  • Guide candidates through recruitment and collaborate with the Regional Vice-President on transition opportunities
  • Document sales activities and outcomes
  • Support new advisors through onboarding and early productivity milestones
  • Help advisors establish client acquisition, planning, and tool utilization practices
  • Identify additional coaching, training, and support needs
  • Manage a portfolio of advisor relationships within the region
  • Translate annual objectives into actions, opportunities, follow-up routines, and measurable progress
  • Strengthen client acquisition, asset consolidation, referral development, marketing, and planning-based retention practices
  • Promote structured accountability while respecting advisors’ independence
  • Encourage adoption of CRM, planning, analytics, digital marketing, and client engagement tools
  • Serve as primary contact for emerging and growing advisors
  • Coordinate advisor transitions to the Regional Vice-President as businesses mature
  • Support regional growth priorities, campaigns, advisor development initiatives, and platform adoption
  • Identify common needs and recommend scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with product, planning, marketing, training, compliance, technology, and operations teams
  • Provide regional leadership with insights into advisor needs, obstacles, and trends
  • Reinforce the independent and entrepreneurial culture of iA Private Wealth Management

Requirements

  • Experience in wealth management, investment advisor recruitment, business development, advisor support, practice management, sales support, recruitment, or regional support functions
  • Experience building strong relationships and influencing through collaboration and partnership
  • Ability to coach early-career or growing advisors in disciplined execution practices and core business development principles
  • Comfortable using customer relationship management tools, dashboards, lead and opportunity reporting tools, and digital solutions
  • Ability to translate strategy into practical business practices, tailored tools, and actionable plans for advisors
  • Strong collaboration skills with regional leadership, Regional Vice-Presidents, and product, planning, marketing, operations, compliance, and technology teams
  • Energetic, organized, personable, commercially curious, and highly execution-oriented
  • Ability to build trust with new advisors, create momentum, reinforce growth-oriented habits, and turn opportunities into measurable progress
  • Advanced proficiency in English
  • Ability to collaborate verbally and in writing with unilingual English-speaking partners daily
