Responsibilities
Manage project activities to ensure timely and successful delivery, meeting key performance indicators and financial objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with COVE project team members and external partners to foster collaboration, define project scopes, and gather requirements.
Identify dependencies, minimize risks, and propose mitigation strategies to support project success.
Monitor project performance and prepare regular progress reports for COVE’s internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in the development of project plans; manage timelines, and budgets, ensuring proper implementation throughout the lifecycle.
Contribute to COVE project proposals and support funding acquisition efforts.
Ensure adherence to COVE’s project management best practices, industry standards, and all relevant regulations.
Support COVE leadership in presenting project updates and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.
Ensure compliance with COVE’s policies and procedures, including human resources, safety, and operational standards.
Take on additional responsibilities as required to support the success and growth of COVE’s programs and strategic initiatives.
Occasional travel as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline; an equivalent combination or education and experience will also be considered.
5+ years managing and executing projects with demonstrated experience in project management and maintaining strong working relationships.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Experience in stakeholder management and relationship building.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation and facilitation skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software, including advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance.
