About the role

  • Sales Account Executive driving revenue and customer growth for JBS Food Canada, a major beef and multi-protein processor. Managing key accounts, product programs, inventory, pricing coordination, and brand strategies from the Calgary office.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the JBS Canada sales and marketing corporate strategy to maximize sales and market penetration with targeted customers
  • Work with the pricing team and peers for the best of JBS
  • Maintain and use expert product and market knowledge
  • Match customer needs with products and programs to generate value-added sales
  • Manage graded and aged inventory to influence targeted product sales
  • Determine customer needs and use effective selling skills to meet or exceed account goals
  • Match new products and programs to customer goals and recommend enhancements to increase sales
  • Execute brand strategies for a consistent company sales and marketing message
  • Follow up frequently with accounts and maintain trusted working relationships
  • Handle operational aspects including product delivery and billing
  • Monitor market conditions, share information, and recognize market trends
  • Collaborate with different departments, peers, customers, and internal teams
  • Ensure orders are shipped promptly from production and cold storage facilities
  • Support teamwork and trust across the organization

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of post-secondary education or higher in Agri-Business, Meat Science, Business, Marketing, Ag-Econ, or Animal Science
  • Minimum 2–5 years of previous experience in fresh protein sales, including beef, chicken, or pork
  • Ability to navigate customer/client conversations leading to sales, brand development, and relationship building
  • Strong presentation and follow-up skills
  • Strong communication and sales planning skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships
  • Exceptional teamwork capability
  • Full professional proficiency in English, written and verbal
  • French language is a plus
  • Applicants must complete a pre-hire medical examination and drug and alcohol test
  • Employment offer is conditional on satisfactory completion of the medical examination and drug and alcohol test
