About the role
- Project Manager / Environmental Engineer at KBL managing environmental monitoring and remediation projects across Western and Northern Canada. Focusing on project completion and safety in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate environmental projects from planning through completion, including schedules, budgets, reporting, and project documentation
- Support environmental monitoring, remediation, and sampling programs in both office and field settings
- Work closely with clients, regulators, subcontractors, and field crews to support safe and successful project delivery
- Assist with proposals, cost estimates, work plans, and project tracking
- Participate in and oversee field activities, including site inspections, environmental sampling, and compliance monitoring
- Promote safe work practices and support strong communication across project teams
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in environmental consulting, remediation, monitoring, reclamation, or related project work
- Experience coordinating or managing smaller-scale environmental projects
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related discipline
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently in the field and collaboratively within project teams
- Professional designation such as P.Eng., P.Ag., P.Geo., RPBio., or equivalent is considered a strong asset
