About the role

  • Bilingual operations specialist processing life insurance transactions for Manulife, a global financial services provider. Supporting clients, resolving inquiries, and improving Contract Services efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Review or process received transactions accurately and in a timely manner
  • Provide service to internal and external clients via email, phone, or mail
  • Research and analyze inquiries, determine resolutions, and process necessary transactions
  • Collaborate with teams in various offices to manage changing volumes and meet service standards
  • Suggest process enhancements to improve service efficiency
  • Work effectively with other Contract Services departments
  • Meet or exceed productivity, quality, and service standards
  • Handle multiple tasks and prioritize daily workload based on urgency
  • Perform a wide range of tasks within the administrative unit
  • Communicate with clients, plan sponsors, agents, and brokers in writing and over the phone
  • Proactively manage and take ownership of requests

Requirements

  • College diploma or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual French and English is required
  • Ability to communicate in English and French to support clients from various jurisdictions outside Quebec
  • Strong decision-making and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proactive and self-motivated
