About the role

  • Data Analyst developing Power BI dashboards and data governance solutions for Michelin’s Design-to-Manufacturing teams. Supporting data-driven decisions at the Magog research center.

Responsibilities

  • Support business decision-making and performance improvement through data analysis, reporting, and development of business intelligence solutions
  • Work closely with Beyond Road stakeholders to understand business needs and develop relevant analyses
  • Promote data-driven decision-making
  • Maintain reporting tools and data governance practices
  • Provide user support
  • Keep documentation and training materials up to date
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for Design-to-Manufacturing teams
  • Analyze requirements and draft specifications
  • Clean and prepare data
  • Identify trends and patterns
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow ethical standards and data governance rules
  • Manage and support reporting data sources, including Data Lake environments, internal data warehouses, and external databases
  • Collaborate with process partners, process engineers, and business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs
  • Promote development standards, governance practices, and continuous improvement within the citizen developer community
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions for process teams and internal business partners
  • Provide Level 1 support for reporting and analytics tools
  • Provide user training

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in business intelligence and data management
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent is a plus
  • Experience in industrial procurement, direct procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related business function is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English
  • Ability to function effectively in a multicultural and international environment
  • Collaborative team player who communicates effectively and builds strong working relationships across different functions
