Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key customers, providing deep product knowledge and support for their applications.
Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs, propose solutions, and drive design-in opportunities.
Support customers throughout the product lifecycle, including pre-sales, design, development, and post-sales phases.
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and partners.
Analyze customer requirements and provide recommendations on optimal product usage, system architecture, and integration.
Work closely with internal engineering, product management, and R&D teams to convey customer feedback and influence product development.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, escalating to engineering teams when necessary.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and technical stakeholders at customer sites.
Stay informed of industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies.
Mentor and provide technical support to junior FAEs and other team members.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven track record in bringing designs into production, with a history of career progression within an organization.
More than 8 years of design experience in relevant product areas (e.g., embedded systems, software/firmware, hardware, Ethernet).
Customer-facing experience in a Field Applications Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar customer-oriented role.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
