About the role

  • Consumer acquisition and media leader driving integrated strategies for BAT’s Zonnic, Vuse, and Ryde brands. Leading five reports, agencies, channel planning, investment, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrated media and consumer acquisition strategy across the Zonnic, Vuse, and Ryde brands
  • Define channel roles across traditional media, digital media, owned social, retail media, partnerships, and 1:1 activities
  • Translate brand, consumer, commercial, and regulatory priorities into channel plans covering audiences, objectives, channel architecture, budget allocation, reach/frequency, creative requirements, and measurement frameworks
  • Lead annual, quarterly, and campaign-level media planning
  • Establish media planning standards for briefs, audience segmentation, media mix rationale, sequencing, optimization rules, test-and-learn plans, and KPI frameworks
  • Champion precision marketing, including audience building, journey mapping, context planning, targeting, creative personalization, campaign optimization, and performance measurement
  • Lead, coach, and develop five direct reports
  • Direct strategic direction and performance management of media, social, partnership, and 1:1 agency partners
  • Oversee end-to-end activation from briefing through planning, buying, launch, optimization, reporting, and learning
  • Translate acquisition-channel results into concise leadership recommendations

Requirements

  • Advanced expertise in integrated media planning, including audience strategy, channel planning, budget allocation, media mix optimization, campaign flighting, measurement, and performance management
  • Deep cross-channel experience spanning linear/offline media, connected TV, online video, display, paid social, paid search, programmatic, retail media, partnerships, influencers, and CRM/1:1 journeys
  • Strong full-funnel marketing capability
  • Proven analytical and performance management skills
  • Expertise in media KPIs including reach, frequency, CPM, CPC, CTR, VTR, CPA, ROAS, and conversion rate
  • Ability to translate data into business impact through executive storytelling, actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and investment trade-off guidance
  • Extensive knowledge of media platforms, ad tech, digital analytics, privacy requirements, measurement frameworks, retailer ecosystems, and performance marketing technologies
  • Senior leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams, agencies, and partners
  • 5–8+ years of progressive media and marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • Bilingual English/French proficiency
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business growth through integrated media and activation strategies
