About the role
- Consumer insights specialist analyzing POS and syndicated data for Neptune Retail Solutions’ omnichannel retail marketing campaigns. Creating client-ready recommendations and supporting Sales with actionable CPG insights.
Responsibilities
- Analyze POS and syndicated data to inform campaign planning and assess post-campaign performance
- Serve as liaison with external research vendors, ensuring timely delivery and clear interpretation of program results
- Develop client-ready analyses and presentations with clear insights and recommendations
- Support the Sales team with data-driven insights for client meetings, pitches, and sell-in
- Respond to ad hoc insight requests and act as a data resource for internal stakeholders
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for CPG marketing campaigns across in-store and digital channels
Requirements
- BA/BS required; Business degree preferred, quantitative or analytic degrees a plus
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), retail, shopper marketing, or marketing analytics
- Experience working with and presenting insights to internal stakeholders and/or clients is a strong asset
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, and pivot tables
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create clear, compelling, client-ready presentations
- Strong quantitative orientation with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets
- Ability to synthesize complex information into concise, actionable insights
- Strong presentation skills with the confidence to answer questions clearly and effectively
- Ability to adapt communication style to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Proven record of delivering quality results on time
- Ability to use logic to analyze data, draw conclusions, and provide advice or consultation
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others
