About the role
- Personal Support Worker assisting seniors with daily living, companionship, meals, and care tasks. Supporting residents and care teams at S&R Seniors Living.
Responsibilities
- Assist Residents with activities of daily living
- Spend time with and provide companionship to Residents
- Complete Point-of-Care tasks specific to each supported Resident
- Help keep the Resident’s area clean and clutter free
- Communicate Resident updates to the care team
- Support Team Members in the home during themed days
- Help Residents come down during mealtime and provide support throughout the meal
- Support the team as needed
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Health Care Aide (HCA) Certification
- Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check completed within the past 6 months
