Tender Manager negotiating commercial contracts for Nordex, a global onshore wind-turbine manufacturer.
Managing execution risks, schedules, and cost estimates to deliver renewable power projects.
Responsibilities
Lead contract negotiations during the sales phase, focusing on project-management terms and conditions
Identify contractual and execution risks, evaluate mitigation options, and present solutions through the internal Gate Process
Ensure approved risk-mitigation measures are transferred into executed contracts and project planning
Prepare cost calculations for project execution work, including personnel, tooling, equipment, customer/BOP support, and quality assurance
Coordinate project schedules between customers and internal departments such as manufacturing and logistics
Represent Nordex to clients, building trust and delivering customer satisfaction
Liaise with Engineering, Purchasing, Service, and Legal during tendering
Present detailed handovers to transfer essential knowledge to the execution team
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned
Promote safety standards, comply with regulations and company policies, identify hazards, use safety equipment, and communicate safety information
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as business/project management or industrial/sales engineering
5+ years of professional experience in contract negotiations in a comparable large-scale industrial project, emphasizing project-management terms
2+ years of experience in project-management roles such as Project/Site Manager, Contract Manager, or Technical Advisor
Experience in wind energy or industrial-scale construction projects preferred
Experience with commercial, finance, and legal terms is a plus
Strong critical-thinking and creative problem-solving abilities

Ability to travel domestically and internationally to project sites and for business

Ability to complete Canadian regulatory pre-employment screening requirements
Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company auto insurance policy
