About the role

  • Field Marketing and Events Manager connecting marketing and sales for Planful’s financial performance management software. Owning field events, executive dinners, tradeshows, logistics, follow-up, and ROI reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with and own the relationship between Marketing and Sales, ensuring alignment on priorities, campaigns, and lead follow-up
  • Own and execute logistics for field events, executive dinners, and tradeshows
  • Lead event ideation and concept development, including theming and format selection
  • Build event briefs, landing pages, and email promotions
  • Manage onsite logistics, including venue selection, vendor and catering coordination, AV, shipping, and staffing
  • Own post-event communications, lead handoff, and reporting on attendance, pipeline influence, and ROI
  • Support event logistics for Planful's annual user conference
  • Track and report on field marketing campaign and event success, partnering with marketing operations on KPIs and ROI
  • Manage vendor relationships and event budgets

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with preferred experience in field marketing and event management
  • Proven experience planning and executing successful field events, dinners, and tradeshows end-to-end
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent organizational and logistical skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and report on marketing programs and events
  • Salesforce and marketing automation platform experience preferred
  • Experience working with enterprise software or SaaS companies is a plus
