About the role

  • Project Manager for packaging artwork compliance at SGX, a leader in packaging graphics and print. Collaborating with Albertsons teams for How to Recycle packaging updates.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with select Albertsons Category Team POD Managers, PMs and Product Suppliers to initiate packaging update and artwork projects for How to Recycle (H2R) compliance
  • Responsible for understanding which items require packaging updates and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to gather the required information
  • Manage project identification, information gathering, and communication with product suppliers to ensure they have updated packaging ahead of the compliance deadline
  • Partner with cross-functional team including Product Management, Regulatory, Supplier, Printer and Adaptive agency partners to ensure effective and efficient communication between stakeholders
  • Maintain multi data tracking document ensure work is initiated on time to meet timing and inform Albertsons management of status and progress

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in project management with deep experience in packaging artwork and print production for packaging
  • College degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Graphic Management Services
  • Proficient using PC platform, (Excel, MS Office, Outlook, as well as web-based systems/asset management systems)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
  • Thorough understanding of the packaging process
  • Understanding and can speak to technical print requirements
  • An eye for detail and ability to anticipate and communicate around potential challenges
  • Experience managing packaging projects inclusive of graphics and technical artwork
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and building positive relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • The ability to work in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment and demonstrate resiliency
  • A collaborative approach to working within the team.
