About the role
- Senior Relationship Manager managing RBC commercial banking relationships in the Retail Goods & Services sector. Delivering credit, financial analysis, sales, and client acquisition solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio concentrated in the Retail Goods & Services sector
- Prospect and generate leads among new and existing clients
- Review financial statements, identify trends, monitor risk, and assess credit restructuring
- Deliver business and financial advice and an exceptional client experience
- Identify referral opportunities and introduce clients to appropriate RBC partners
- Collaborate with various teams to develop and execute client contact strategies
- Promote RBC’s mobile application and guide clients in using it
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years commercial banking experience
- Proven track record in sales and business development
- Exceptional client relationship management
- Credit skills including assessment of risk and financial analysis, credit structuring/solutions, and presenting the deal
- Expertise in a Retail Goods & Services sector
- Experience with emerging communications and technology, including web-based meetings, social media, Digital Banking, and Mobile Applications
- Bilingualism in English and French required
- University degree, ideally in commerce, business administration, or related experience (nice-to-have)
