Responsibilities
Lead discovery conversations that go beyond surface-level needs
Understand the client's data architecture, governance challenges, and monetization objectives
Deliver demonstrations that feel more like collaborative problem-solving sessions than simple product presentations
Create and maintain demo environments that showcase real-world use cases
Develop reusable assets — scripts, accelerators, architecture diagrams — to make each sale more efficient
Regularly collaborate with the engineering team to relay field feedback
Document bugs with context
Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) accurately and promptly
Requirements
5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical sales
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS required; Azure/GCP a plus)
Hands-on experience with the modern data stack: Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent
Proficiency with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and API tools (Swagger, Postman)
Comfortable with the command line and able to script solutions (Python preferred)
Experience creating architecture diagrams and customer-facing technical documentation
Fluency in English required; French is a significant asset
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
