About the role

  • Project Analyst supporting mental health initiatives at ROCK, managing projects to enhance operational effectiveness. Engaging stakeholders and ensuring successful project delivery in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate 1 to 2 small-scale projects concurrently, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Develop project work plans, timelines and communication plans.
  • Track milestones, work package delivery, risks/issues and decisions.
  • Participate in and facilitate regular project meetings.
  • Maintain project documentation and prepare regular updates for team members, Project Managers and management.
  • Engage internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in Working Groups and project meetings to gather input and communicate updates.
  • Build positive relationships across the agency to support shared understanding and collaborative decision-making.
  • Participate in the execution of change management plans such as through the development of communication tools/templates and training documentation.
  • Collect feedback from project participants for inclusion in implementation approach.
  • Participate in project governance structures.
  • Prepare project status updates, risks/issues logs and decision briefs for leadership and governing bodies.
  • Track progress against timelines, deliverables and outcomes.
  • Identify risks and escalate as required to appropriate leadership.
  • Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and follow all agency health and safety policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, Public Health, Social Sciences or a related field; relevant diploma will be considered.
  • Certification of formal training in project management or related fields (e.g., CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, Lean, Agile, Change Management) is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience supporting and leading small-scale projects, ideally in a mental health, healthcare or non-profit environment.
  • Familiarity with children’s services or community-based programming is an asset.
  • Familiarity with privacy legislation and data governance practices relevant to healthcare data is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in the use of technology as required of the position, including working in a virtual environment with MAC OS operating systems experience preferred.
  • Experience working with MS Power BI or Canva is considered an asset.
  • Current (within three months) criminal reference check with vulnerable sector search.
