About the role

  • IT Senior Manager overseeing enterprise architecture initiatives aligned with business objectives at Saputo. Leading technology strategy and governance for digital transformation in dairy processing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, principles, and standards to guide technology decisions
  • Lead the creation of multi-year architecture roadmaps aligned with business strategy and IT priorities
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders, including Cyber Security to ensure architecture supports innovation, agility, and cost optimization
  • Govern solution designs to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles and security requirements
  • Drive adoption of modern architecture practices such as cloud-native, microservices, API-first, and event-driven architectures
  • Mentor and coach architecture teams to build organizational capability and maturity in EA practices
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for executive stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology strategy and investment decisions
  • Define KPIs to measure architecture effectiveness (e.g., reuse rate, compliance score, technical debt reduction)
  • Report progress and maturity of EA practices to leadership
  • Ensure data architecture supports analytics, AI, and regulatory needs
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors to ensure alignment with EA principles
  • Participate in contract negotiations and technology selection processes
  • Ensure architecture decisions comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., data privacy, cybersecurity frameworks)
  • Proactively identify architectural risks and develop mitigation strategies

Requirements

  • Strong ability to translate business strategy into technology architecture
  • Proven leadership in managing enterprise architecture programs and teams
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage senior executives and technical teams
  • Strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach to delivering results
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (master’s preferred)
  • TOGAF, Zachman, or similar Enterprise Architecture certification strongly preferred
  • Cloud certification in Microsoft Azure is an asset
  • Certifications in ITIL and COBIT would be highly beneficial
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise architecture leadership roles
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale digital transformation initiatives
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, integration technologies, and modern application architectures
  • Proven track record in developing architecture governance frameworks and standards
