About the role

IT Senior Manager overseeing enterprise architecture initiatives aligned with business objectives at Saputo. Leading technology strategy and governance for digital transformation in dairy processing.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, principles, and standards to guide technology decisions
Lead the creation of multi-year architecture roadmaps aligned with business strategy and IT priorities
Partner with business and IT stakeholders, including Cyber Security to ensure architecture supports innovation, agility, and cost optimization
Govern solution designs to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles and security requirements
Drive adoption of modern architecture practices such as cloud-native, microservices, API-first, and event-driven architectures
Mentor and coach architecture teams to build organizational capability and maturity in EA practices
Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for executive stakeholders
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology strategy and investment decisions
Define KPIs to measure architecture effectiveness (e.g., reuse rate, compliance score, technical debt reduction)
Report progress and maturity of EA practices to leadership
Ensure data architecture supports analytics, AI, and regulatory needs
Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors to ensure alignment with EA principles
Participate in contract negotiations and technology selection processes
Ensure architecture decisions comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., data privacy, cybersecurity frameworks)
Proactively identify architectural risks and develop mitigation strategies

Strong ability to translate business strategy into technology architecture
Proven leadership in managing enterprise architecture programs and teams
Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage senior executives and technical teams
Strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach to delivering results
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (master’s preferred)
TOGAF, Zachman, or similar Enterprise Architecture certification strongly preferred
Cloud certification in Microsoft Azure is an asset
Certifications in ITIL and COBIT would be highly beneficial
10+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise architecture leadership roles
Demonstrated experience in large-scale digital transformation initiatives
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, integration technologies, and modern application architectures
Proven track record in developing architecture governance frameworks and standards
