About the role
- HSSE Training Coordinator at Stantec developing online and facilitated HSSE training courses under the guidance of the HSSE Training Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop new central HSSE (online and facilitated) training content
- Work with HSSE operations teams to support and guide the development of training as needed
- Update and maintain central HSSE training programs and courses
- Identify gaps and develop learning objectives and specifications for new and existing courses
- Maintain working knowledge of Stantec HSSE programs, policies and procedures
- Assist in troubleshooting courses and learner experience issues
- Assist in quality review process for course development
- Edit and produce videos to supplement or support training development
- Coordinate with internal facilitator pool and manage yearly schedule for courses
- Collaborate with Stantec L&OD team on course development and facilitation communication
Requirements
- Understanding of adult learning and behavioral science principles
- Project management skills with the ability to support multiple course development efforts
- Ability to identify and build course learning objectives and outcomes
- Effectively incorporate learner and stakeholder feedback into training improvements and revisions
- Proficiency in instructional design and eLearning authoring tools, principally Articulate Storyline
- Effective use of Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
- HSSE or occupational safety knowledge and experience is a plus
