About the role

  • Project Coordinator managing project documents, schedules, and communications with clients at Stantec. Collaborating with various stakeholders in a hybrid work environment in Kamloops, BC.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cost, schedule and document management functions on project(s)
  • Deliver day-to-day project tracking and communications with the clients, project teams, and other project stakeholders
  • Prepare and distribute project correspondence and meeting notes
  • Review, monitor and record all contracts, invoices, change orders and payments to all contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors
  • Support the preparation of regular Progress Reports (internal and external)
  • Participate and coordinate project team activities and interact effectively with clients, Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, and other consultants or stakeholders
  • Coordinate and participate in proposal writing and business development activities
  • Supports project quality control by maintaining Quality Management plans, coordinating reviews and ensuring accuracy and compliance of drawings, documents, and submissions through checks, coordination, and quality review oversight
  • Maintains the Risk Register, coordinates risk identification activities, and monitors updates throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in a related field
  • 1-3 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Acquired project management experience through on-the-job consulting projects
