About the role

ServiceNow Administrator responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Stantec's ServiceNow platform. Collaborating with stakeholders for technical solutions and ensuring platform compliance.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the daily administration, configuration, and maintenance of Stantec’s ServiceNow environment.
Implement custom scripts, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and UI actions.
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and third-party tools.
Build and enhance automation workflows for ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or other ServiceNow modules to improve operational efficiency.
Manage the overall health of the platform, perform upgrades, and ensure high availability.
Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts and IT teams, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Conduct thorough testing and create detailed documentation for new and modified features.
Ensure solutions comply with security and data protection standards.

ServiceNow Certified Application Administrator (CSA).
3+ years of experience administering the ServiceNow platform in an enterprise IT environment.
Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, HTML, AngularJS).
Familiarity with API frameworks, integrations, and ITIL principles.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems using structured methodologies.
Experience managing time effectively across concurrent tasks and projects.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Agile development methodologies (preferred).
ITIL v4+ Foundation certification (preferred).
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) (preferred).
Proven track record of ServiceNow platform development and enhancements (preferred).
Knowledge of additional technologies such as AngularJS, Bootstrap, or SQL (preferred).
