About the role

Project Manager at S&C Electric executing large-scale engineering projects and ensuring alignment with customer requirements. Focus on project planning, execution, and leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

Define project scope and develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Prepare project financial forecasts, monitor and control project financials with regular reports to leadership.
Manage project scope, schedule and cost with little or no supervision.
Create and maintain project deliverables, plan and coordinate completion with the project team to meet desired stage gates.
Plan the technical design approach. Lead the preparation of design and work specifications.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and other stakeholders through regular team meetings and ensure alignment and mitigate risks as they arise.
Monitor and report on project cost metrics.
Manage communication of project status to all stakeholders.
Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Conduct daily stand-up meetings for Sprints.
Conduct backlog meetings for sprints and communicate sprint results.
Coordinate Steering Committee / Task Force meetings and provide minutes and track action items.
Other duties as required.

BS/BA degree and/or specific degree in project management, business management, technology, engineering, or equivalent experience.
PMP OR Prince2 certification is required.
4+ year of project supervision or project management experience.
Experience with engineering projects and technology transfer projects is an asset.
