Responsibilities
Complete two rotations over two years in a new graduate rotational training program
Build knowledge of the group benefits business and prepare for an Account Executive career
Receive individualized learning and coaching from the Program Manager and business leaders
Work as a Group Underwriter on risk selection and pricing for Group Life, Disability, Health, Dental, and Critical Illness benefits
Renew existing business, price plan changes and revisions, and assess new business opportunities
Partner with sales teams to sell renewals and quotations and handle inquiries
Work as a Service Associate with Account Executive teams to build and maintain Advisor relationships in the small business SunAdvantage market
Help retain existing business by meeting or exceeding client needs and expectations
Discuss Group Benefits issues and develop and maintain knowledge of Sun Life products and services
Meet with external clients and advisors, build business relationships, and deliver an exceptional client experience
Participate in development conversations and complete the progress scorecard for placement into subsequent roles
Requirements
Be in the graduating year or completing the final year of an accredited undergraduate program
Strong mathematical skills
Balanced experience in academics, extracurricular activities, and volunteer work
Willingness to relocate within the hired region in Canada for Account Executive placement
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to travel
Bilingualism in French and English, both oral and written, required for Quebec only
