API/Backend Developer role designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Onsite in Mississauga/Toronto, ON.
About the role
- Seeking an Elixir Engineer for backend development of Supabase's Observability product. Focus on developing features, improving performance, and collaborating with the infrastructure team.
Responsibilities
- Help building a connector for ClickHouse that will allow the product to grow while also providing a better self hosting experience to our users
- Enrich our OTEL ingestion pipeline to cover the full specification while also ensuring our ingestion performance is high
- Work with our infrastructure team to guide them on the optimizations required for our specific use case of Kubernetes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with Elixir/Erlang in production
- Experience with clustered Elixir applications
- Knowledge of ClickHouse and its internals
- Have a deep understanding of the OTEL standard
- Have worked with Kubernetes applications and understand the requirements and pitfalls of using it with the BeamVM
