About the role
- Project Manager at Surespan Construction leading project planning and execution in British Columbia. Responsible for budget management, subcontractor selection, and project compliance in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- assume responsibility for all aspects of project planning, execution, monitoring and control
- represent the interests of Surespan Construction Ltd. in interactions with customers, crews, subcontractors and suppliers
- manage risk, assess and manage contracts
- provide overall administrative and technical direction for the project
- maintain safety standards in all aspects of the project
- evaluate bids and select subcontractors and suppliers
- monitor and control project progress, costs, and budgets
- implement change management procedures
Requirements
- minimum of 10-15 years' experience in the capacity of Project Manager
- experience in contract interpretation
- strong customer focus at all times
- integrity, strong initiative, work ethic, focus on safety and quality of work
- highly experienced individuals desired
- post-secondary education is an asset but not required
