About the role
- Project Manager overseeing facility maintenance tasks for TC Energy's pipeline systems. Collaborating with Operations and Engineering to ensure reliable operation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with internal customer groups to define project scope, deliverables, cost, schedule, and quality requirements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously including budget and schedule
- Identify and mitigate risks
- Develop project plans such as scopes of work, regulatory applications, communication plan, etc.
- Work with Supply Chain Management for contractor engagement
- Maintain communication with client groups and manage expectations
- Prepare formal reports and provide senior leadership with updates
- Oversee project design and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
- Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 6 years of related project management experience
- Proficient in PC-based computer systems and software applications with an emphasis on SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, Master Plan, and Project
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Change management experience or certification preferred
- Post secondary degree in Business, Engineering, Sciences, or a technical trades certification in a related field preferred
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices
- Ability to influence and exercise leadership without formal authority
- Valid driver's license and provision of driver's abstract for review
- Travel to company locations for temporary assignments, meetings, or training (~25%)
